WEBSTER, N.Y., October 8, 2026 — Veteran automotive executive Kevin Parker and his son, Brandon Parker are building the next chapter of Parker Automotive, marking the transition of the former Garber Chevrolet and Subaru dealerships in Webster to independent, local ownership.
With more than 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, including over 15 years serving the Rochester region, Kevin is leading the company alongside Brandon, Director of Sales Operations. Together they are building a family-owned business with long-term roots in Webster and a focus on creating local career opportunities, strengthening community relationships and providing a more personal automotive experience.
“This is an incredibly meaningful next chapter for our family. The greater Rochester community and Webster specifically have been an important part of my professional life for many years and we’re grateful for the opportunity to invest even more deeply in this community. Brandon and I want to build a company where employees can create lasting careers, customers feel genuinely cared for and our neighbors know they can count on us.”
Kevin Parker, Owner, Parker Automotive
Parker Automotive currently employs more than 80 people across its operations and plans to grow to approximately 100 employees by the end of 2026. Recruitment efforts will include a particular focus on automotive technicians and other positions supporting the company’s service and customer-experience goals. The company also plans to invest in employee development, service operations and processes designed to make purchasing and maintaining a vehicle more personal and straightforward.
“Building this company together gives us an opportunity to combine my father’s decades of industry experience with a fresh perspective on what today’s employees and customers expect. We want Parker Automotive to be a company that grows with Webster and the city of Rochester, supports the people who live and work here and makes a positive, lasting contribution to the community.”
Brandon Parker, Director of Sales Operations
Parker Automotive’s customer promise, “Buy It, Love It, or Bring It Back,” gives customers the option to return and exchange a recently purchased vehicle within three calendar days of delivery and before exceeding 1,000 miles driven. The program supports the company’s broader “New. Different. EZ.” approach to simplifying the automotive experience and building lasting customer relationships.
As part of its commitment to Webster, Parker Automotive plans to expand its relationships with local schools, workforce-development organizations, nonprofits and community groups. These partnerships will support technician recruitment, career awareness and opportunities for the company and its employees to become more actively involved in the community.
Kevin also plans to continue his longstanding support of regional charitable organizations and causes, including Golisano Children’s Hospital, United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes, Pluta Cancer Center, The Dream Factory of Rochester and Make-A-Wish, as well as local youth sports teams and other nonprofit organizations.
“Local ownership gives us the ability to listen closely and respond directly to the needs of our employees, customers and neighbors. We’re proud to call Webster home, and we intend to be an active community partner for many years to come.”
